We are confident you will agree that we have undertaken a wide range of work for an impressive list of clients. Some are household names in the field, and some probably new to you.
While we are comfortable with six-figure spends, we are more interested in the size of your vision than the size of your budget. Which is why we work for worthy causes like Disability Hackney and Transport for All, along with bigger hitters like the Department for Transport and the Corporation of London.
The Ramblers Association
An innovative “actors and factors” report, on behalf of the Rambler’s Association, looking at key elements that make up the walking scene. The work included a number of interviews with key professional decision makers, using a non-schedule standardised approach to the task.
Corporation of London
Detailed research on behalf of the Corporation of London on the experience of blind and partially sighted people using the streets of the City of London.
Transport for London
We provided key evidence on air quality issues for Transport for London for the crucial Thames Gateway inquiry.
Transport for All
Access to public transport provision is crucial for many disabled people. On behalf of Transport for All, Heelgood Factors produced Claim the Buses, a major report looking at whether Transport for London had met targets in terms of accessibility to transport for wheelchair users.
Disability Hackney
Heelgood Factors was commissioned by Disability Hackney to produce a consultation and feasibility study on a proposal for a disability advocacy consortium in the London borough.
Docklands Light Railway
As the leading experts on pedestrian access to public transport interchanges, Heelgood Factors was commissioned by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to produce a major report – The economics of walking and the economic dividend from investing in routes to Docklands Light Railway stations.
In addition, Heelgood Factors provided expert advice and recommendations to the DLR during the planned redevelopment of access to Poplar station on the network.
Aston University
Heelgood Factors has been commissioned to teach at an ongoing series of training courses at the University on all aspects of walking, including travel planning, auditing the street environment and transport interchanges.
The University of Westminster
On behalf of the University, Heelgood Factors undertook research on mixed use of streets in Sheffield.
The Department for Transport
As leading experts on audit methodology for streets and public spaces, we were commissioned to produce a pedestrian audit methodology for the Department.
Greater London Authority
Cities like London have many vibrant streets and public spaces, but are they accessible to vulnerable groups such as older and disabled people?
Commissioned by the former Mayor’s advisor on disability, Heelgood Factors created London – New opportunities for creating an inclusive city for the 21st century, a groundbreaking report which provides a blueprint for a city accessible to all users.
